President's Profile

Reverend Vuppula Ebenezer Benjamin is a visionary with a missionary's heart. Challenged by the life of Hudson Taylor at five years of age, young Ebby grew with a heart that was burning with a missionary passion.It was the same passion that took him through the pathway to a greater commitment, when he finally joined the Hindustan Bible Institute at Channai in India in 1985 to be equipped theologically. He emerged from the
seminary with a restless burden to reach out to the unreached. He served the India Youth for Christ at Pune in Maharashtra. When the Lord expanded the horizon of his vision for world evangelization, the birth of Discovery Global Mission (DGM) took place.

Reverend Vuppula Ebenezer Benjamin comes from a family, which holds a rich Christian heritage. He is the Founder and Director of DGM. He serves the Lord through DGM with his wife Bernice. He lives in greater Secunderabad with his three children Hanna 3, Leena 2 and Enoch 1.

Diploma in Theology at Asia for Christ, Secunderabad, affiliated to Luther Rice seminary, Florida, USA, Secunderabad in the year 1984-1985.

Bachelors in Theology at Hindustain Bible Institute, Madras, affiliated to Serampore University,founded by Dr William Carey in the year 1995-89.

Present Ministry Profile:

(1) Founder Director: For Discovery Global Ministry, which is a Trans- denominational organization, which is geared for evangelist working since 1990. The ministry includes work with youth from different churches, colleges, University, govt. offices, Slums and medical students. By conducting Bible-studies, Discipleship camps, Leadership training, Crusades, Musical concert and Inter-church sports Ministry.

(2) Assistant Pastor: For the past 7 years Pastoring the English congregation of the centenary Baptist Church, which is has a great history of 125 years with more than 800 families.

(3) Evangelist at Large: Preaching at various conferences, crusades, seminars, evangelistic and revival
meetings.

Discovery Global Ministry Belives

In one God, eternally existing in three persons-Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The Bible to be the infallible holy Word of God, and that it is God’s inspired Word and in its supreme and final authority. That Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ’s sinless life and His atoning work of salvation on the cross as the full and final ransom for the sin of mankind. That men everywhere are lost because of sin and face eternal judgement and the need to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross. In the death, burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our Mediator and Advocate. In the soon coming of Jesus Christ to the earth. That the Church is the holy bride of Jesus Christ. In the holy Christian living in accordance to the word of God the Bible and its teachings.
